Privacy policy
Your garden stays on your device. Optional measurement and advertising have separate privacy choices.
Who provides the game
Glint Garden is provided by First Market Equities LLC, operating as Brewed Apps. This policy covers the Android, iPhone and iPad game, including test versions, and related support. Contact hello@brewedapps.com for privacy questions. Visits to brewedapps.com are covered by the separate website privacy policy.
Your local garden
The game stores puzzle state, level and garden progress, settings, hint inventory and reward/ad bookkeeping on your device. It also keeps bounded local technical logs. Puzzles are generated locally. We do not automatically receive your saved boards or local logs. There are no player accounts, developer-managed cloud saves, chat, leaderboards, in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Removing app data can remove your progress. Integrity checks protect against damaged saves; they are not encryption. Device or operating-system backups may separately retain or restore app data.
Optional gameplay analytics and crash reports
Both options start off. In Garden → Settings → Help improve Glint Garden you can independently allow or withdraw gameplay analytics and crash reporting. Gameplay and hints work the same with either option off. Advertising privacy is managed separately.
If you allow gameplay analytics, Google Analytics for Firebase receives app usage and puzzle events, including level difficulty, board identifier, turns, active play time, hint use, ad outcomes and reported ad-value events. Google also processes app/device information, approximate geography derived from network information and pseudonymous installation identifiers. We disable Firebase advertising-ID collection and advertising-personalization consent, automatic screen reporting and advertising audiences in this integration.
If you allow crash reports, Firebase Crashlytics receives technical errors, native stack traces and, on Android, Java stack traces, application and device metadata, installation/session identifiers and build-channel information. If gameplay analytics is also allowed, analytics events may appear as crash-report breadcrumbs. Native crash dumps can temporarily contain application memory required to diagnose a crash. We do not intentionally include your name, email, contacts or local saved garden in automatic reports.
When either option is allowed, the app creates a random installation privacy code and attaches it as a pseudonymous user identifier to the allowed measurement service. It is not a login, password, name or advertising identifier. Copy privacy request code in the privacy choices screen copies this code and, where available, recent Analytics installation identifiers to help us locate earlier reports and automatic app-usage events for a deletion request. A local history of at most 512 recent Analytics identifiers, retained for up to 90 days, and the installation code remain available after withdrawal; reinstalling or clearing app data may remove them.
Turning analytics off clears the application's pending analytics queue and resets its local Analytics identifier. Turning crash reports off disables further automatic reporting and asks Crashlytics to delete unsent reports. Withdrawal does not erase data already delivered to Google. SDKs may retain local technical state; uninstalling is not a remote deletion request.
Advertising and Google AdMob
The game uses Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). Advertising may appear at a level boundary after 13 completed levels, with at least three additional newly completed levels between automatic breaks. All full-screen ads share a maximum of three presentations in a rolling five-minute window. Rewarded hints are optional, add one hint and cannot raise inventory above two. Ads and rewards require an available internet connection. Missing or declined ad eligibility does not block puzzle progression.
Google and the selected advertising partners named in the regional advertising message may collect and share network/IP information, approximate location inferred from it, app and ad interactions, device/account identifiers such as advertising ID or app-set ID where permitted, and SDK performance/diagnostic information. These support ad delivery, measurement, service operation and fraud prevention. Collection depends on consent, regional requirements, operating-system settings and the ad service's delivery mode. A refusal of personalization may still permit limited advertising with associated data processing.
Where required, UMP asks for advertising consent or presents an opt-out notice. The message's partner list provides the available provider and purpose information. In Settings, Privacy choices lets you reopen the available regional advertising choices. The app uses UMP's eligibility decision before requesting ads; it does not infer permission from its own saved settings. Your device settings also provide advertising-ID and ad-privacy controls. We do not request GPS or precise-location permission.
Read Google's privacy policy and Google's advertising information and choices. Third-party advertising has separate purposes and retention from the optional Firebase choices. Test builds use Google sample ads and do not generate advertising revenue.
On iPhone and iPad, the first release requests non-personalized ads and disables Google's publisher first-party identifier. The game does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission, does not access an authorized IDFA, and does not use optional Firebase data to personalize advertising. Non-personalized advertising can still process app/device identifiers, approximate geography, interactions and diagnostic data for delivery, frequency controls, reporting and fraud prevention. Regional advertising choices remain separate from Apple device privacy settings.
Support and data requests
If you email us, our Google Workspace support mailbox receives your email address, sender name if supplied, message and attachments you choose to send. We use these to answer your request, investigate problems and address privacy rights. Do not send passwords, identity documents, payment details or unrelated personal information. Sending local diagnostics is your choice; the app does not automatically upload its diagnostics export.
To request access, correction or deletion, email hello@brewedapps.com with the subject “Glint Garden privacy request”. For optional measurement data, include the privacy request code copied from the app if available. For advertising-provider data, Google's linked privacy tools provide the provider's request process. We may need proportionate verification and will explain any legal exception or limitation. See our data request instructions. There is no Glint Garden account to delete.
Retention
Local progress remains until removed or replaced. The application analytics outbox holds at most 256 events for up to 72 hours before expiry; this limit does not describe Google's SDK queues or cloud retention. Our Analytics property uses two-month user and event retention with retention reset on new activity disabled, subject to the retention rules provided by Google. Aggregate standard reports may be retained separately. Crashlytics retains crash traces, extracted crash information and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal from live and backup systems, according to Google's service policy; raw native dumps are temporary.
Support correspondence is retained only as reasonably needed to resolve requests, investigate related issues, meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. Advertising data and provider backups follow Google's and the applicable advertising partners' retention and deletion policies. Uninstalling the app does not remove information already held by providers.
Audience, security and international processing
The initial release is intended for adults aged 18 and older. Content ratings describe content suitability separately from the intended audience. We do not knowingly collect children's information through support or optional measurement. A parent or guardian may contact us regarding a child's information.
Provider transmissions use encrypted connections. Services may process data outside your country, including in the United States. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, address misuse or resolve a dispute. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing and to complain to a privacy regulator. Nothing here limits mandatory rights.
Changes and contact
We will update this policy as verified practices change and provide notices or choices where required. Contact First Market Equities LLC, operating as Brewed Apps, at hello@brewedapps.com.
